This is a new version of NfHIS – the News from Hughes Information Service. This version, posted on September 4, 2014, replaces previous versions of NfHIS which were primarily used for two purposes:
- Acting as a test bed for various Content Management Systems, primarily Drupal and Joomla.
- Providing a platform for our weekly address from President Obama, as well as a limited range of other White House related news.
After 5 full years of this type of operation, as well as developments in software, we are dropping Joomla and Drupal in preference to WordPress. This new version of NfHIS is written with WordPress. It uses a truly minimalist theme by Anders Norén.
NfHIS now focuses on presenting White House related news.
